Marie Zelie 2020 Pinot Noir Release Event with Tom Turner

Somm welcomes Martinborough Vineyard Winemaker Tom Turner to present the seventh release of Marie Zelie Pinot Noir 2020.

Experience an evening of thoughtfully paired canapés while tasting through the rich history of Martinborough Vineyard. This intimate gathering brings together fellow wine enthusiasts for a relaxed night of great conversation, exploring the vineyard’s legacy while marking an exciting new chapter with Tom at the helm, honouring the enduring influence of local wine pioneer Marie Zelie.

In addition to being among the first to taste the exceptional new release, ticket holders will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase the Marie Zelie Pinot Noir 2020 to take home.

A rare, intimate evening of exceptional wine.

$95 per person (+ fees) includes tastings of six wines with paired canapés, and an intimate masterclass from Tom Turner.

World Gin Day Distillery Tour & Tasting

THE RUNHOLDER, MARTINBOROUGH | SATURDAY 13 JUNE 2026, 1PM-5PM

Celebrate World Gin Day with Lighthouse Gin at The Runholder. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes distillery tour with Head Distiller Rachel Hall, followed by a guided stand-up gin tasting in the tasting room. Tours run at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.

They'll also have a special cocktail on offer, crafted exclusively for the occasion, and available to purchase in the tasting room or the restaurant if you're dining.

$20pp for distillery tour (10-15 min) and guided gin tasting (30 min) - 3x10ml pours with tonic and garnish pairings and a complimentary cocktail recipe card.

Your tour and tasting is free when you buy two bottles of gin to take home, plus receive a special World Gin Day gift with every gin purchase.

Join us for an intimate evening at Mt Difficulty  featuring our Winemaker Greg Lane and Head Chef Stacia Andani for a refined four-course dining experience celebrating the best of Central Otago’s truffle season.

Showcasing premium truffle from Black Quail Estate enhancing a menu of local delicacies alongside a selection of our finest Mt Difficulty library wines. The evening has been thoughtfully curated to highlight the beauty of seasonal New Zealand produce with a delicate and refined approach.
